Plugging along

At least this week wasn't all about eating. Elly and I went to Pizza Ranch, but I posted pictures in September, so I won't bore you with more. By the way, if you have one in your area, I recommend them. Really good fried chicken. Try the dessert pizza with strawberry yummy if it's available. Take two pieces, because it goes fast.

I checked off a few things on my bucket list:

I had breakfast at Gold Star Family Restaurant, but you saw those photos last week.

Watched a romantic comedy, or at least I think it qualifies as comedy. Accidental Tourist. It was so-so.

I changed the wreath and pillows.

I made unique Valentine's Day cards. Seventeen, as a matter of fact, and that's why I haven't accomplished more. My needy Stormy would not let me work, and we spent lots of time in front of the TV. I watched, she slept on my lap. I spent three days making cards.

I had these red-lined envelopes I wanted to use. They're an unusual size, and I have no idea where I got them.

And six of these.

I was tired of repeats, so I finished with these.

I tried a fold-out card.

When my cardmaker friends and I send to each other, we don't sign the cards so they can be reused. Sometimes the recipient has also been the sender. I told Katie that I never send a recycle to a cardmaker, because I might send it back to the maker. She said that she likes getting her cards back, because she forgets them. She's a cardmaking machine and ends up with hundreds, so she doesn't bother to take photos as I do.

So here you go, Katie Sue. You sent me the one on the left in 2023, and it's on its way back to you.

Now I need to clean up the cardmaking mess (Boy, do I need a craft room,) and get cracking on the rest of my goals.

I put this in my getaway drawer to return, and now I don't know who it belongs to. Is it yours, Jill?

Storm moving in, and my bulbs are sprouting all over the place. They had already started before the last snow, so I guess they'll survive. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm particularly concerned about the hyacinths, as the buds emerge with the leaves.

Want to know why the Trump Administration is invesitgating USAID?

Click Here and go to minute 7:00 for a list of some of the ridiculous things we're paying. The government has become more corrupt than we even dreamed. Our so-called aid for those starving children is somehow being diverted.

Time to quit blabbing and get moving. I'll try to have something fun to show you next week.

BIG STORM MOVING IN - BE PREPARED

STAY WARM AND SNUGGLE IN

WORK ON YOUR GOALS

GET SOME SUN WHEN YOU CAN

AND EAT YOUR VEGGIES

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

THANK YOU FOR SHARING MY LIFE
