More Memories

I met Bev at a lecture on travel at the library. I invited her (and husband Bill) to dinner. Then she invited me to dinner. Then we started a cooking club - a very exclusive cooking club (VECC) limited to four people. Mim was going to Bev's tai chi classes, and she joined us. Bev and I met Carol at the cooking lessons at Keeter Center, and she was with us awhile. Sadly, we lost her to cancer, and our club remained Bev, Mim, and Patsy until Bev had to drop out. Mim and I didn't want to go looking for new members, so we discontinued the club. No one likes to entertain anymore. Too busy.

I'm still cleaning up my computer, working now on deleting some photos. Here are some from the VECC which I'm keeping.

TO BE CONTINUED

Still making memories. Fannie Mae, Mim, and I went to Thai Gardens and we all had the Sweet and Sour Crispy Chicken I love so much.

We shared a Thai custard dessert. The little orange blossom is a carrot.

We were so excited about the carrot, we kept talking about it, and the chef came out and carved one for us so we could see how he does it. How sweet is that?!

I love this restaurant, and took some more photos of the interior.

My wimpy attempt at decorating for the 4th.
